"Delicious pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches. The baked beans and corn bread were also tasty. There's a nice shaded area down by the creek to enjoy your meal when the weather is nice."

"Pretty cool bbq spot, right off the road. The food is great and could use a bit more spices to amplify the flavor, but it feels fresh and nice, they have a beautiful sitting place just above the river. And prices are pretty reasonable!"

    - Adi A.

"Headed out to this spot while out on a camping trip with the family. Ordered the pint of brisket, pint of pork, potato, rolls, and beans. Everything was made quickly, came out fresh and hot and to top it off the service was awesome and friendly the only critique was that a pinch more of seasoning on everything. The sauces we ordered were great and made all the food over the top, but it would of been a five star if I could've eaten everything without the sauce and had the same enjoyment. Overall, check this place out. It's defiantly worth the price!"

"When I moved up to the Lehighton area recently, everyone on Earth said I should come here so my expectations were extremely high and my standards were through the roof. They met and exceeded all of them. The food is so good. Someone build these people of real building."

    - Jason M.

"Sorry my photo wasn't the best, but you can see the brisket sliders and the Mac n cheese egg roll we got! It was all sooo delicious and we got to choose more than one sauce, which are amazing!! The ladies were so nice and interacted with my 15 month old son and he loved them and the food too! Then we got to sit at 1 out of 5 or 6 picnic benches right next to the creek! Great atmosphere, definitely go here! Will be going back FOR SURE!! "

"Meh... not bad, but nothing to make me want to come back. Mediocre brisket, not particularly tender but not leathery either. Large portions of okay food. Nice seating area down by the creek. Friendly service."

    - Rob C.

"The food was delicious and the staff were super awesome and friendly. Food is ready quickly, or you can order ahead of time if you don't want to have to wait. They have picnic tables in a shaded area by the creek if you want to stay there and eat. Great place to stop in on your way to the Poconos or hanging out close by in Jim Thorpe."

Some guests mention that the brisket could use additional seasoning for a stronger flavor. While most dishes, like the pulled pork, shine, a few items receive mixed reviews for not meeting expectations in tenderness.

A few diners noted that some portions felt large but average in taste. It seems that while many enjoy their meals, a few dishes left a desire for more complexity of flavor.
